Personal Development Plans is intentionally planned steps aimed at improving current performance, personal development or well being. Personal development plans concentrate on planning and organizing private thoughts, behaviors, emotions and decisions in ways to attain specific desired goals and objectives in the most effective way. Personal Development is essentially the study of human character and its psychological processes. Personal Development includes a four stage process namely Personal Development Processes (PDP), Personal Development Measurement (PDM), Personal Development Analysis (PDA) and ultimately Personal Development Solutions (PDS). These four stages share common themes of identifying a problem, developing a plan, implementing the plan and controlling behavior.
Personal Development Programs are intended to enhance the human potential by enhancing our mental, physical, social, psychological and spiritual condition. Personal Development Plans focuses more on setting goals, evaluating and revising these goals as well as identifying new ones. Personal Development isn’t about producing an individual, but instead making of a person and who’s accountable for their own development. Personal Development Programs revolves around establishing individual’s goals, enhancing their self-development, understanding human capacity, developing self-confidence, building their self-esteem, improving communication, improving leadership skills, increasing personal motivation, raising self-awareness, learning effective leadership skills and more.
Personal Development Methods is another phase that involves achieving Personal Development Goals. Personal Development Goals are set to change the person’s life, their situation, status, education, career and worth. Personal Development Goals is to be written down, discussed with family members, friends and/or colleagues, and recorded down on paper as a vision statement. Personal Development Goals can change over time and is assessed periodically.

Personal Development Plans involves actions that strengthen your ability to understand, anticipate, plan, and execute. Some Personal Development activities may include: Self-introspection including testing to determine one’s intelligence quotient (IQ); Developing problem-solving skills including problem solving techniques, goal-setting and collaborating with others; Developing leadership skills such as role-playing, identifying and implementing motivation, developing social skills, learning emotional intelligence, building organizational intelligence, and understanding diversity and cultural influences.
Citing needed Personal Development includes activities that support career and vision, such as: Successfully completing a basic skills development plan; Developing and executing a vision statement; Creating a career plan; Demonstrating a strategy to produce personal development a priority within an organization; and Developing and executing a time-management model. Business schools should consider each of these areas when deciding if the student has what it takes to be successful in their career. There are various factors that influence an individual’s success in Personal Development. An individual’s intelligence, creativity, resources, personality, and other aspects will determine the course they will take in their livelihood.
