Personal Development Plans is intentionally planned steps aimed at improving current performance, personal development or well being. Personal development plans focus on planning and organizing personal thoughts, behaviors, emotions and conclusions in a manner to attain specific desired goals and objectives in the most effective way. Personal Development is basically the study of human character and its psychological processes. Personal Development includes a four phase process namely Personal Development Processes (PDP), Personal Development Measurement (PDM), Personal Development Analysis (PDA) and finally Personal Development Solutions (PDS). These four stages share common topics of identifying a problem, developing a plan, implementing the plan and controlling behaviour.
Personal Development Programs are meant to improve the human potential by enhancing our mental, physical, social, psychological and spiritual state. Personal Development Plans focuses more on setting goals, assessing and revising these goals in addition to identifying new ones. Personal Development isn’t about producing an individual, but rather making of an individual and who is accountable for their own development. Personal Development Programs revolves around setting individual’s goals, enhancing their self-development, understanding human potential, creating self-confidence, building their self-esteem, enhancing communication, improving leadership skills, increasing personal motivation, raising self-awareness, learning effective leadership skills and more.
Personal Development Methods is the next phase that involves achieving Personal Development Goals. Personal Development Goals are set to change the individual’s life, their circumstances, status, education, career and worth. Personal Development Goals is to be written down, discussed with family members, friends and/or colleagues, and listed down on paper for a vision statement.
